Three distinct varieties ripening in sequence from mid-July through August. Just under 10 acres inside the City of Oneida.
We are excited to open Oneida Blueberry Patch to our patrons for what we consider our first true season. We will be on the premises dawn to dusk for u-pick. We have made many improvements to the farm this year, including increased security for everyone's safety.
Need picking assistance or financial support? Our business manager Jen Haynes partners with local churches and food banks to help connect people with what they need. Reach out through the contact form below and select “Picking assistance or financial support.”
What We Grow
Like a great wine, each variety brings something different to the experience. They ripen in sequence — meaning your picking season extends from mid-July all the way through August.
🍑 First to Ripen — Mid July
The showstopper. Enormous berries that burst with pure sweetness the moment you bite them. Think dessert wine — big, bold, nothing holding back. These are the ones people can't stop eating right off the bush.
🫙 Mid Season
The classic. Smaller, darker, and more intensely blueberry than anything you will find in a grocery store. If Blue Crop is a Chardonnay, Jersey is a Pinot Noir — concentrated, true to the fruit, the kind that serious blueberry people prefer.
⭐ Last to Ripen — Worth the Wait
The layered one. Sweet up front with a gentle tartness that lingers — wine-like is the word growers use. Firm enough to hold in a pie, complex enough to eat by the handful. The variety that makes people ask “what kind is that?”
By the Numbers
One of the only active u-pick farms operating within city limits in Madison County. We grow here, we sell here, and we show up every season.
